Summering With Rustan’s

I always enjoy attending events — especially when they’re fun and themed! During the Summering With Rustan’s event, guests were treated to a fun filled carnival themed afternoon. There were a ton of activities, games, drinks and of course (my favorite part) delicious food! We were then treated to a fashion show showcasing the departments stores collection of summer pieces from the different brands they carry. I definitely spotted a number of my favorite pieces which I promise to buy when I drop by Rustan’s again real soon. But before all of that, enjoy this (slightly photo heavy) post-event post! Btw, if you follow me on Snapchat (Follow me! My user name is @patriciaprieto) you would’ve seen Cams, Tricia and I goofing around during the show! Oh happy days.

CocaCola_Its_Paradigma_1

Summer has finally arrived (I don’t know if you can feel, cause I know I can)!! I think I already know how I’m going to be spending it. Aside from traveling and walking around the mall, I‘m pretty sure that you’ll definitely see me at the beach! If you follow me on Instagram I’ll probably start flood my feed (if I haven’t already) with shots of me soaking up some sun, enjoying the sea and walking on the sand with my family and close friends. Trying To Be Touristy

Neon_Island_Top_Its_Paradigma_1

Who doesn’t love walking around the places they live in? I always make it a point to visit random places around Manila, not only for outfit shots but just to soak in some culture. One of the closest and coolest places to go to would have to be Intramuros. It’s this beautiful city with old and unique buildings that have been up for years now. I visited Intramuros a few weeks back with my family and decided to make sure I shot something while I was here, so I made sure to use this super cool Neon Island top as well as my new favorite bag (which I’m pretty sure you see all over my social media accounts). I guess this is my take on that usual tourist-y type of look, instead of those aloha shirts I went for this palm tree printed chiffon top and even sported some leather shorts! I completed my look with my favorite Karen Walker sunnies from Ronnie & Joe. So, what do you think of this blogger-meets-touristy type of look?

(PS: Forgive the photo quality of this post. I didn’t realize that the setting of my camera wasn’t right AND I was using a kit lens. Starting this week, things are about to change.. YAY! But again, sorry about this.)

Do You Need Me?

Miu_Miu_Top_Its_Paradigma_1

When I just want to chill and casually walk around the Metro, some denim shorts and a white top will always be my go to pieces. To dress this outfit up even more I wore my low heeled sandals and topped it off with a camo printed cardigan. It’s sorta like a sweet meets tough kind of look since the jacket contrasts my Miu Miu top, cool how this thing can work!

I’m glad I also wore this out while my family and I decided to drive around Manila, found the perfect spot to shoot this super awesome look! It’s rare for me to shoot in new spots cause I don’t know where else to do. Let me know of cool places you’d like me to shoot looks! I’m open to all sorts of suggestions.

The #WorldClassFilipina Movement

CreamSilkBall_5

Growing up, I have always dreamt of being in the fashion industry — although I didn’t know what I wanted to be exactly, but I knew I wanted to be part of it. As I got older, more matured and exposed to it, the choices of what I wanted to be when I grow up changed frequently but one thing was consistent… I still wanted to be a part of the fashion industry. The choices of what I wanted to be in this world became clearer. I wanted to either be an editor, a stylist, a designer, a photographer, anything I could possibly be!
