Pandora Philippines launched its Autumn/Winter collection a couple of days ago at the SM Mega Fashion Hall by treating their guests to a beautiful ballet performance. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, I’ve always loved ballet — so getting the chance to watch a performance by the talented performers from the Philippine Ballet Theater was simply amazing! It was indeed a night that shimmered and glowed.
For those who don’t know, I personally love the story behind Tory Burch’s success. From designing clothes in her kitchen to owning a company worth billions, she is definitely someone I look up to. From clothes, shoes, bag, wallets and accessories, Tory Burch also has a fragrance line as well as a cosmetics line. She began with only one lipstick shade but because of her love for colour — she eventually created 12 distinctive shades, each designed to flatter a variety of skin tones. After knowing that , I knew I couldn’t miss out on the Tory Burch Beauty Collection launch that happened at Rustan’s Makati a few weeks ago.
Before I talk about my outfit post, let me share a little story with you all.. Okay, so I rarely take outfit photos when it’s dim or dark out since I’m not the best when it comes to manually adjusting the settings on my SLR. Luckily, I finally found the courage to experiment with the settings and it worked so I’m blogging about the outfit I shot that time right now. Sorry, I was so proud! Anyway, on to my look, I wore this lovely printed and off-shoulder Zara dress out to the surprise party of one of my closest friends. I love how flattering it is and how it can be so dressy even with just a pair of gold ballet flats from Old Navy. I didn’t accessorize too much since I wanted the print to stand out but I tried adding a bit of colour to my look with the help of my deep green Givenchy bag.
Here’s a photo diary of a trip I took to Binondo while filming some shots for a Palladium video that’s currently in the works. It’ll be out real soon, so don’t worry! I’ll be sure to blog all about it once it’s up. But before that, here are a number of behind the scenes photos I took of the things I saw. I’ve been to Binondo and Chinatown before, but it’s always because my family and I wanted to grab some delicious Chinese food for lunch. This time around, I got to see and feel Binondo differently. From visiting the Escolta Saturday Future Market, to walking around as well as exploring one of the most interesting cities in the Metro. Anyway, here is what it looked like on that sunny Saturday! I won’t be putting too much captions since I want the photos do the talking for me.
I’ve been seeing a lot of denim on denim action happening a ton lately. May it be online or in print, I guess you can say that, that’s what made me want to try the big 90′s trend out. I even incorporated some metallics into my outfit with the help of my super comfy Kenneth Cole pumps. I’m such a big denim fan because of how laidback and relaxed it looks, so putting them together in one outfit? Love! Hmm.. I think I want to wear denim on denim again!
