Whenever I take part in photo shoots, I love taking BTS shots cause it allows me to show you what goes on behind the camera. You all just get to see the finished products, so it’s awesome that I get to show you what you don’t see. This shoot in particular was for AyosDito and its latest (with the lack of a better term) contest! If you follow me on Instagram you’ll notice that I’ve posted a couple of #TeamPatricia photos that hopefully a number of you join!! Well, enough about that, time to show you some photos from the shoot and tell you more about this contest!
On the 22nd of October, SM Mega Fashion Hall welcomed it’s latest addition to their retail collection.. Pull & Bear! As I mentioned in my previous blog post, I was a fan of the brand years back when I first discovered it while visitng Spain. So you can only imagine how happy I was to find out it was finally opening in Manila. To top it all off, I was fortunate enough to be asked to attend the event as one of their style influencers along with a number of my friends, amazing right? I got the chance to attend the event in a super cool Pull & Bear outfit, catch Miami Horror live, sip on some good ice cold beer and munch on some delicious food. It was definitely a great night!
When I was asked by Pull & Bear to be one of their style influencers during the grand opening, I was ecstatic! Not only am I a big fan of the brand, I also was so excited for it to finally make it’s way to Manila. I heard about Pull & Bear when I visited Spain a couple of years back and totally hoarded a ton of pieces – but I now have nothing to worry about now cause instead of it being miles and miles away, it’s now just a couple minutes away. For my look that night, I wanted to try something different — so I decided to mix some prints. Plaid and stripes go really well I must say! I stuck to deep tones and blacks that night but added some gold accessories to somehow brighten up this look.
I don’t know if you’ve seen the photos on Smart’s social media accounts featuring bloggers and luckily, I am part of it. It was totally surreal! Up to now, I take pride in being part of Team Smart. The shoot I’m talking about took a while but it felt like time flew by real quickly and this was because I was surrounded by people I love working with. I was with a bunch of my good friends (and of course fellow fashion bloggers). Shoots like this are always something I look forward to. I really enjoy being glammed up, not that I’m vain, but I’m just like any typical girl. Haha! I enjoy experimenting on hairstyles, make up and even outfits. Allow me to show you some of my behind the scenes shots. This will give you an idea what goes on during shoots like this.
Surprise, surprise.. An all white outfit! I wore this out on my last day at Bacolod. I thought that it would be a great idea to stick to wearing just one colour, a colour I don’t usually wear. I even worked my entire outfit around this lovely Marc Jacobs top! Thing is, I couldn’t help but add a little more of my own style into this look so I wore a cool acid washed chambray around my waist and some Topshop slip-ons that got extremely muddy during the Lovedance event during our first night at the City of Smiles. I’ll be blogging about my amazing and unforgettable trip to Bacolod very soon so be sure to watch out for it!
