BTS: Spotted.Ph Shoot
I’m pretty sure you’ve seen the links I’ve posted all over social media, as well the photos. For those wondering about what happened during the shoot for online magazine, Spotted.Ph shoot well then today is your lucky day! I always try my best to make it a point to snap behind the scenes photos during shoots so you all get a glimpse on what it’s like to be, well.. Behind the scenes! From how silly I look like on the make up chair getting all glammed up to photos of me finally on set. This was a really quick (and not to mention fun) shoot. I got to style myself, which was fun since they asked me to style looks which were more on my own personal style but with a given peg of course.
As Damien from Mean Girls once said and I quote, Her hair is so big, because it’s full of secrets! Lol That was the first thing that popped into my head when they removed all the steam rollers!
I opted for something on the edgier side for my first look. I wore my Shop Sincerely Jules top from Revolve Clothing, leather shorts from Harlan + Holden, a Topshop studded leather jacket, my bad ass Miu Miu boots and Urban Outfitters flannel which I decided to wrap around my waist.
I went for something a little dressier with my second look. I finally got to wear my American Apparel cropped top, Banana Republic pencil skirt, Saint Laurent boots and my ever dependable H&M floppy hat.
For my third and final look, I wanted to kind of put everything together by styling something that had both edgy and sophisticated elements in it. So, I used another top from Revolve Clothing but this time from Sub_Urban RIOT, a pair of Forever 21 trousers, my favorite Valentino Rockstud heels, a couple of gold accessories and my H&M floppy hat yet again.
Among all three layouts, this one was my absolute favorite! I’ve never done a sitting on a stool layout before so this was a first and it was just awesome.
We did a few standing ones too! You can say that we had a ton of fun shooting these photos.
I couldn’t leave without shooting an outfit post but sadly the rain started pouring.. And I mean POURING down. So good thing I was able to snap photos while in the studio! Shout out to Ryan De Asis for shooting everythingand Tina Herrera for making me look human that morning. Till the next one, here’s the LINK to the feature! Check it out and let me know what you think. Cheers!
