Black In Spring

Okay, okay, okay. It’s summer time and I find it quite silly that I’ve been blogging about cold weather related things. SO! Allow me to take a break from all that and talk about warmer related things for time being. Believe it or not, yes, I am wearing black in spring. It’s not everyday you see someone wearing a black dress in this kind of heat (most especially here in the Philippines) but luckily this little black number is made of light material with eyelet details making it very breezy to be in all day long. So no need to worry about breaking a sweat in this dress — you just gotta worry about keeping warm inside an air conditioned restaurant or mall whenever you head out!

Btw. To keep things made for the season, I wore my favorite Chanel Espadrilles and kept my look simple by sporting two colors namely navy blue and black. Many say that paring these two tones up would have to be a fashion don’t but at this time and age who says that rules matter when it comes to fashion. Don’t you agree? Like who says wearing black during the summer is a bad idea? Cause I honestly don’t think it is! With that said, wear what you want when you want to. Fashion is an extension of you and a form of self-expression so do what you feel best represents you.
